Today you can see this 'Nouvel Habillage' commercial torpedo
with a 10HP engine and front axle with independent wheels.
The commercial torpedo is an uncommon model of which we have identified
only few remaining cars, all engines combined.
Often confused with the one that stole the show,
the 7 Traction Avant launched almost at the same time...
With 8, 10 and 15HP engines.
The design of the Traction Avant is the work of Flaminio Bertoni,
who is also responsible for bringing the good old Rosalie up to date.
To do this, he will redesign the entire face of the car.
The grille is new, the fenders have been given a flap,
large chrome bullet headlights are appearing
and the horns are moved to the new front bumper.
A new front axle with independent wheels
is installed on the Rosalie, it is the B series
still offered in 8, 10 or 15HP.
Thanks to this improved axle, the Rosalie
offers better handling.
These versions will have a very brief career because
the Rosalie disappears (temporarily) from the catalog
before the end of the year 1934.
In 1935, the Rosalie reappeared, still with
the same NH design, without front axle with
independent wheels but this time equipped
with new mechanics: 7 and 11HP
from the Traction Avant!
The motor is running in the opposite direction because
the Rosalies have remained rear-wheel drive.
These so-called MI versions (for Inverted Engine)
will be marketed until 1938 when
La Rosalie disappears for good.
